I'm taking on Race Across the UK 2026 to support the incredible work of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity!
In October, along with my teammate Julie partnered as team "Missed it by Five Minutes" we are taking on Race Across the UK — and it’s going to be a big one! 🗺️🚆🛴
We’ll be racing against 29 other teams, travelling only by public transport, with just £500 to last us 4 days… plus our secret weapon — a push scooter 😄
We’re doing this in aid of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, raising money to support serving personnel, veterans, and their families. This is about far more than completing a race.
As a team we are aiming to raise £3,000 in support of the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity, which provides essential help to Naval families facing life-changing injuries, mental health challenges, and financial hardship.
By embracing this unpredictable journey and pushing me out of my comfort zone, I hope to raise awareness of the charity’s vital work and make a meaningful difference to those who serve - and to the families who support them.
