Race Across the UK 2026

I'm taking on Race Across the UK 2026 to support the incredible work of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity!

In October 2026, I will be taking part in an exciting fundraising challenge inspired by the TV programme Race Across the World, raising vital funds for the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity.

From Tuesday 6th to Friday 9th October 2026, along with Zadie, my work colleague and teammate for this epic adventure, we will race as the team 'Missed It By Five Minutes'. We will be racing from Dartmouth to Inverness, competing against up to 30 teams. With just a £500 budget and no digital navigation, we will rely on public transport, quick thinking, teamwork, and local knowledge — plus our unexpected secret weapon: a push scooter.

Throughout the race, we will uncover mystery checkpoints, crack clues, and take on challenges designed to test our resilience, creativity, nerve, and decision-making under pressure. With multiple route options, surprise twists, and constant time pressure, the challenge will demand adaptability and determination at every stage.

This is about far more than completing a race. As a team we are aiming to raise £3,000 in support of the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity, which provides essential help to Naval families facing life-changing injuries, mental health challenges, and financial hardship.

By pushing my limits and embracing this unpredictable journey, I hope to raise awareness of the charity’s vital work and make a meaningful difference to those who serve — and to the families who support them.

Every donation - big to small - helps make a genuine difference. Please back out challenge and help us raise vital funds for those who serve and those who have served.
