I'm taking on Race Across the UK to support the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity!
This September, I will be undertaking the epic adventure of racing from EDINBURGH to DARTMOUTH with my teammate Zadie.
Piece of cake you say? There is a catch - we will only be allowed the use of our own two feet and public transport - and hopefully cake! - to navigate our way across the UK.
There will be NO shortcuts, NO map apps and you guessed it NO limousines - just strategy, endurance, and determination!
This race is more than just an adventure though, we are racing to raise funds for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC), who provide crucial support to serving personnel, veterans, and their families. From hardship grants to mental health support, financial assistance to family welfare, RNRMC is there for those who serve or have served, when they need it most.
