I'm taking on Race Across the UK to support the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity!
This September, I’ll be racing from Edinburgh to Dartmouth with my wonderful teammate - Gemma Sawers- navigating only by public transport and our own two feet. No shortcuts, no map apps - just strategy, endurance, determination, sense of humour and competitive spirit!
But this challenge is about more than just the adventure. I’m raising funds for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC), who provide crucial support to serving personnel, veterans, and their families. From hardship grants to mental health support, financial assistance to family welfare, RNRMC is there for those who serve or have served, when they need it most. I know first hand, as a Naval veteran, Naval spouse and mother to military children, what an incredible range of support the RNRMC funds, and I am proud to be a Trustee of the charity.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help make a real difference. Please support my challenge and help me raise vital funds for our Naval community!

Day 1
Tuesday 2nd Sep We have had an exciting day! Edinburgh to Liverpool. A hunt around Liverpool for photos at the Cavern Club, Maritime memorial, evidence of eating Scouse, and the next checkpoint was at the Western Approaches museum. We are now on our way to Greenwich Maritime Museum, London, via Oswestry Castle Mount.
