I’m taking on Race Across the UK to support the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity!
This September, I’m taking on the Race Across the UK to support the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) — and let’s just say, it’s not your average charity walk.
Me and my mate Cam (yes, I got dragged into it) will be racing from Edinburgh to Dartmouth using nothing but public transport, our legs, and sheer blind optimism. No cars, no flights, no map apps. Just old-school navigation, sore feet, and the occasional train station meltdown.
It’s going to be tough. It’s going to be confusing. It’s probably going to involve at least one sprint for a missed connection. But it’s also for an incredible cause.
The RNRMC does vital work supporting Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel, veterans, and their families — from financial hardship and mental health support to family welfare and beyond. They’re there when our naval community needs them most.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help make a real difference. Plus, it gives me and Monty a good reason to keep going when we realise we’re on the wrong train heading north.
Thanks for your support — and wish us luck. We might need it.
