Bill and Jon are taking on Race Across the UK on behalf of the Royal Naval Association to support the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity!
This September, we’ll be racing from Edinburgh to Dartmouth - navigating only by public transport and our own two feet. No shortcuts, no map apps - just strategy, endurance, and determination!
We (Bill - CEO and Jon Welfare and Wellbeing Co-Ordinator) are hoping you will support us through this crazy undertaking. You will be able to follow us on social media and track us to see if we are triumphing over the other teams, or if we have lost the plot and end up going in the wrong direction...
But this challenge is about more than just the adventure. We're raising funds for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC), who provide crucial support to serving personnel, veterans, and their families. From hardship grants to mental health support, financial assistance to family welfare, RNRMC is there for those who serve or have served, when they need it most.
And the RNRMC help fund RNA Shipmates when they need it most - from Comradeship grants to help to get you to events such as Remembrance or the Naval Association's Biennial Parade, to enabling the organization to have a network of skilled Welfare Officers who help out in times of need.
Our organization is very grateful to RNRMC for their support and hope you will show your appreciation too.
