Who can host a Stand Easy?
Absolutely anyone! Whether you are serving, ex-serving, part of a Naval family or simply a supporter of the RNRMC - we would love for you to get involved.
Should I hold my Stand Easy on a specific day?
No, you can hold your coffee morning any time. However, we have suggested hosting it during Mental Health Awareness Week, which is 11 - 17th May, when it is important to check in with friends, family or colleagues and stand easy together.
How do I invite people to my Stand Easy?
In any way you like! Here are a few ideas:
- Use the downloadable invitations that are on your resources tab. We will provide you hard copies if you have requested a physical pack, but if you would like these sooner then send an email to events@rnrmc.org.uk with your request.
- Download and fill out your event poster and pin it up in your mess, local community centre, kid’s school, village notice board – you name it!
- Set up a Facebook event
- Start a WhatsApp or email group. Even if people can’t attend your Stand Easy, you can share your fundriasing page meaning they are still able to donate.
Can I host a Stand Easy if I am not in the UK?
Of course!
When you sign up, select that you would like a downloadable pack and you will be able to print everything off. For overseas units, we may be able to get a physical pack to your BFPO address, but please allow time for this.
When will I receive my Stand Easy pack?
When you sign up, you will receive everything that you need to kick start your fundraising.
When you registered, you will have ticked Yes or No to receiving a physical pack.
If you requested a physical pack, it will be posted out to you in April, and in good time for your Stand Easy.
Where can I download my Stand Easy pack?
If you have selected No to a phyiscal pack, or you simply wish to have more copies of the documents, you can download the fundraising items from your online dashboard HERE
How soon before my event do I need to register?
To get the most out of your fundraising, we recommend that you sign up as early as possible.
How do I raise money at my Stand Easy?
An online fundraising page will be created for you when you register on this platform for guests to donate directly on their smart phone.
If you have requested a physical pack, we will then provide you with QR code stickers directly to your fundraising page. We will also provide you with cardboard collection boxes, but please do not feel obliged to use this if you are not comfortable handling cash.
